Say it ain't so...

Is it just me or does BD seem to be trying to suck that big ol gut in?

Guys i haven't been following recruiting that long.

Who is this Kenny Rodger's Roasters spokesman pictured with Van that seems to have a less than stellar reputation?

The man you see in that pic is Bryon Devinner. The most vile handler there is. Cat is super toxic and hates everything Ut. Is a big influence on middle and west tn kids. See the Jovon Robinson case for anymore reason to hate him

Think he was being sarcastic but it doesn't make any sense to commit to one school and then visit the other one the same week

Lol, all of this started with one guy saying he heard.......blah, blah, blah. Almost every recruit makes visits after they commit. Why shouldn't they? They get treated like royalty and get free stuff. It's not out or the realm of possibility that some of our recruits get flipped. But it's more likely that recruits flip TO us.

Haha so I guess anytime a TN prospects recruiting gets strange it is safe to assume that guy is involved.

When it gets weird, he tends to show up...might be trying to drum up business by getting a pic here...won't Bama get POed with him flashing Jawja swag?

The one guy that heard was Paul Fortenberry that works at Volquest on Rivals. It's not like the janitor's cousin at Van's high school relayed to us the information. There was a legit chance he was swinging by even after his commitment to UGA. Still wouldn't surprise me if he came to Knoxville for a game this year.

I don't know what's worse. Ole Byron tucking his shirt in. Or having a nametag that says 'Coach Byron'. It reminds me of the HS PE teacher that really never coached anything. It was more of an honorary title. And even with him sucking in his gut, he looks like he's about to give birth to triplets. Also note the creepy hand around the waist hug. Completes the seedy handler vibe that he tends to put out.

I am kind of shocked but I really am not. As stated before, how can an NFL coach let his son hang out with this guy? He obviously knew he was going because BD is in UGA gear. I say let bygones be bygones . We have bigger fish to catch.

Bless his heart, Mr. Devinner is quite the specimen.

I do have to give him credit. He appears to be quite confident in steering kids to various programs.

I wouldn't enjoy any success in his practice because I'd spend far to much time looking over my shoulder and trying to step cautiously. Seems to be to many folks on all sides of the recruiting process that eventually can react less than favorably to a bull in the china shop.

But that's just my opinion.

I didn't check your info for when you joined the board. Maybe you shouldn't come around just to stir s*** up. Never seen you on here before.

I don't even think you read my original post, you simply tried to score some likes by telling me to STFU and GTFO once I said I was a Dawg fan.

I simply said I enjoy reading recruiting updates here on some of the guys the Dawgs and the Vols are both going after and then said fans of both teams are the same when a guy commits to someone else.

I acknowledge you probably haven't seen me around here before because I try to respect the fact that this is a Vol's recruiting board and be respectful in my posts and just enjoy the recruiting knowledge here.

Sorry my posting here has agitated you so much. I don't believe I've been disrespectful or tried to "stir s*** up."

We all remember when Marlon Brown spurned the Vols in favor for the
dogs. I'm not too torn up about it now considering how it all played out

How did that fat loser "Coach Byron" get a sideline credential to the Georgia/Clemson game? They do realize that he steered Rico McGraw to Bama, right? Are they trying to wallow in the mud with that pig too?

I'm guessing he went as the guest of a recruit since his name his handwritten on his badge and Van's is printed.

You are truly a VolNation-ite now with that poorly camouflaged "didn't get so didn't want" tactic.

Sorry if it came across that way, not my intention. I'm just saying that Richt would not have had the same kind of patience Dooley had with him. We all know we have a lot of players getting in trouble in Athens, I'm sure Rogers would have been right there with them.

Lol at Richt not having patience with kids getting in trouble.
