'15 TX QB Quinten Dormady (UT Commit 6/9/14)

Please don't tell me you're worried about Ebola. Also have you seen QD play in person yet?

Was looking at Marble Falls, but that was the weekend of the Oklahoma game...Liberty Hill would be great...but my daughter has a drive time...could reschedule that but I need to sell it...that's my birthday weekend so it'd be like a gift to myself. :). Not stressed about Ebola just yet... to be safe , I stopped exchanging bodily fluids with Liberians.

Based on available highlights and game film - Tyler Bray with mobility and seems to be mature for his age. Nice delivery/footwork, has all the throws, questionable decision making like most young QBs. Not much to work with for receivers so I can understand why he is trying to do more than he normally would need to try.

I know what ya mean man... those Librarians are nasty. They smell like ink and musty books.

Fortenberry posted his mid-season highlights but i can't find them... anybody know where Fort linked them from?

Thanks, BW.

Good arm. He's throws a good pass on deep outs, come backs, posts, fly patterns. I didn't see many touch passes where he just lobs it over a defender, but his receivers may suck anyway. He showed me excellent timing on those deep out patterns. He has plenty of arm strength.

Happy to have him.

Really enjoyed seeing him rolling out and throwing on the run. I was impressed with some of his throws and mobility. His WRs are pretty bad looks like. Well, not bad, but obviously high school players. They'll enjoy telling their kids about playing with a D1 player in high school though.

Hello darkness my old friend.

I came to say that he looked plenty mobile for a big armed QB, but alas you've already come to try to take the wind out of our collective sails.

Are there any unofficial times for him and is he elusive(as in avoiding sacks)? Can He throw on the run?

I haven't seen 40 times. But he has a great shuttle time, and looked very fluid throwing on the run in the highlight video. He isn't Nick Marshall, but he also isn't Justin Worley. He could easily take 5-6 carries per game and keep a defense honest.

Makes you wonder if Dobbs can even throw the ball. The ideal QB for this system is a somewhat mobile one that can make all of the throws. Much more worried about the future QB than I am the OL.

I just hope to get a qb that has pocket awareness. There are a bunch of qbs that are fast that get killed in the pocket, and some that couldn't outrun me that almost always avoid the rush by a well timed step up, or sideways shuffle to buy just enough time to complete a pass. It's an art. It also will help to be smart enough to detect where the rush is coming from presnap. I love Worleys heart and toughness, but he is oblivious to everything around him during a play.
