I wonder if QD is saying that he believes in his talents so much, that it doesn't matter how many QBs we sign He believes he is the only quarterback in the class. If so, we want both or all three of our QBs in this class to have that mentality. They will make each other better.
Am I the only one who read this and thought the coaches didnt tell him anything? He didnt answer the question. He just stated his opinion.
This.....all day.
This has never been, nor will it likely ever be, a QB run-heavy offense.....way too many other skilled playmakers. Free yards, short first downs, and keeping the defense honest is what is needed at the QB position.

Time to update Rivals. He is definitely better than Riley Lovingood.
Or its the fact that we will most likely get him that's turning teams off. Its known we lead by a wide margin . URB doesn't recruit a player once it seems they have no shot. Even the tOSU boards are saying that's what happened. The other schools are all stil after him hard.
I really doubt this. We weren't beating Vandy if we couldn't beat them on fourth and one. Our defense was doing terribly against Murphy also.
If Worley played against Vanderbilt it wouldn't have came to a 4th and 1 situation. Dobbs didn't make the throws he needed to against Vanderbilt. And had we capitalized on Florida's inability to score at the beginning of that game, we could have got some moment going and had a different outcome. All I'm trying to point out is that we were a better football team with Worley on the field last year.
Now that Dobbs has more experience, it may not be the same case for this next season. But I expect to see JW start and finish this season, health permitting.
Im pretty sure nobody knows how either game would have gone if Worley played. In the UF game Worley didn't look much better than Peterman. He had several turnovers himself and had 2to other int's dropped. Doybt it would have mattered in the UF game. Vandy probably so but before Worley got hurt he led the SEC in interceptions. You can speculate but it wasn't like we had Manziel, Bortles or another high caliber QB where we could say yea if we had him we would have won. He did somewhat improve but the second half of the Carolina game he did nothing outside of North bailing him out twice and saving atleast one int. Right now I have zero faith in any of the QB's. Hopefully with them in the second year of the system and more weapons one of the 3 step up. Would love it to be Peterman. He has the better arm and obviously fits the system with being recruited by Butch to Cincy. I honestly don't care who wins the job I just wanna see us be more competitive and getting to a bowl game.
You're a idiot if you think Worley didn't out play peterman. Odds are, We wouldn't have turned it over as much. Resulting in more points. Worley has problems with his plant foot. If he put in the work to fix his foot mechanics no way Dobbs will see playing time this year.
It was also rumored that he was told not to run outta the option because of the lack of depth. Just throwing that out there.
