Sad thing is though that regardless of who plays QB it is going to be another difficult year. If Tennessee goes .500 with the youth on the offensive line, that is an accomplishment.
I am not worried so much about our OL. I am more worried about our DL, our LB depth, and inexperience in the secondary.
Tennessee has a lot of questions this year however young offensive lines (and by young I am saying that UT has precious little exp on the o-line to put it mildly) never do well in the SEC.
We have the WRs to beat the defense. Worley just has to focus on getting the ball out quickly. The OL IMO will run block well. It's just the pass blocking that will take time to gel. Quick passes and IMO the offense will move down the field.

We think we do. We're really banking on Malone and Pearson to contribute next to North. I agree that the chances are good, but we really don't know.
If we don't figure the LT spot, we won't be able to get passes off consistently.
Could always have the TE or RB help. We will be fine. I feel like half of the posters here think we will do fine enough (Not a great line but enough to get by), and the other half think that our QB will be sacked on every play. I think we see a lot more screens this season.
FYI - I just did some research on rushing in the 2013 season.....
Top 5 rushing teams in the SEC in order:
Aub
Mizzou
Bama
LSU
So Car
Make up of starting offensive line including tight end (I counted redshirt freshmen as Soph):
Aub Mizz Bama LSU SC
Fresh
Soph 3 3 2 2
Jr 3 1 2 3 3
Sr 2 4 1 1
UT may be starting at least two true freshmen linemen and a host of other linemen will very little playing time.
6 wins. That is all we need to keep things moving in the right direction. 6 wins and a bowl game. Winning the bowl game would give a late boost to recruiting of course. MUST have a bowl game this year.
You're a idiot if you think Worley didn't out play peterman. Odds are, We wouldn't have turned it over as much. Resulting in more points. Worley has problems with his plant foot. If he put in the work to fix his foot mechanics no way Dobbs will see playing time this year.
It was also rumored that he was told not to run outta the option because of the lack of depth. Just throwing that out there.
Expect other teams to come back band try to re-recruit him, i.e. Texas teams.
Texas got Gentry.
Texas Tech got Stidham.
TCU had offered but he picked the Vols instead.
Baylor took President at QB.
A&M took Murray.
I think we are ok. IF the staff tries to get greedy and take Gibson as a 3rd QB, Would not be shocked at all to see TCU back in play.
I think they take him as an athlete...
