Kind of has a Cory Thomas feel to it. How he never shut the door on other teams and eventually flipped. I really liked his potential. Hope Taylor doesn't do what Thomas did

Cory was scared of the all the commits on the DL. The staff Prob would have still took him but expected him to go elsewhere

Semper Fi Notes:*Taylor played mostly defensive end in his high school career, but is playing exclusively outside linebacker this week. Despite the change in position, the*Tennessee*commit looked very fluid in space and showed great range. He is a tremendous athlete, who could easily add 30 to 40 pounds to his frame. He was terrific on Wednesday.

Taylor is one of my favorites in the 2015 class. Watched so much footage on him and potential is extremely high. He's also probably the most versatile athlete coming in. Hope he stays with us.

While we have a lot of D-line recruits, it would be fairly easy to put him at OLB, as well. He played Wide Receiver in high school, too. If I'm not mistaken, he also saw some action at Running Back. Not saying he'll get shifted around that much, but merely suggesting that athletically, he's talented enough to do a lot of different things on the football field. For a creative defensive coordinator looking to attack the opposing team, he's a dream prospect.

He is a bit raw so I don't think he'll make the starting lineup his Freshmen year, but with some time to develop, he could be excellent at WDE or OLB.

I know we say things about our commits being underrated and whatnot, but this guy just from a pure athleticism point of view is criminally underrated being a 4 star. This guy is one of the top three athletic freaks of this class. There is no one we would trade this guy for.

Early in the week it looked like Taylor would battle for to honors on this list, but he was slowed by a tweak that limited his running. Still, he was impressive. Taylor used his length and speed to shut down open spaces while playing outside linebacker. He ran well and his change of direction was an asset. He was best going straight ahead but he showed he was comfortable in space.*

I think people need to be reminded of that -- he showed up 6 weeks later than the other recruits and he was still an immediate impact player. That's Baxter-ate-the-whole-cheese-wheel stuff.

Taylor's look alone is enough to have Tennessee fans excited. A 6-foot-4, 220-pound defensive end, Taylor committed to the Vols in October. Upon doing so, he gave his new team a long, athletic pass rushing threat with a knack for batting down balls at the line of scrimmage. The kind of length and power Taylor possesses can't be coached and will provide him with every opportunity to see the playing field early in his career.
