They also see that two years in a row, we have recruited on the same level as Alabama, Florida St, Ohio St., etc. The kids know something special is happening here, and they want to be a part of it. Are you hearing much to cause concern? I've heard he's listening pretty closely to VT, but nothing to worry about yet. I just hope it stays that way.

Darrell's coach just informed me that Taylor has told Virginia Tech that he is 100 percent committed to Tennessee and he will sign with the Vols on signing day. He will also take no more official visits.

top247 senior defensive end darrell taylor, a tennessee commitment from hopewell (va.) high school, has informed virginia tech that he "definitely will be signing with tennessee," hopewell coach ricky irby told govols247 on thursday afternoon.

taylor, who has been committed to the vols since sept. 26, took an official visit to virginia tech the weekend of dec. 12 and has continued to hear from the hokies over the past several weeks.

"darrell has informed vt that he is 100% committed to tennessee and will definitely be signing with tennessee," irby told govols247 via text message.

The 6-foot-4, 230-pound taylor is ranked the nation's no. 262 overall prospect and no. 12 weakside defensive end in the 247sports composite for the 2015 class. He's ranked by 247sports as the nation's no. 220 overall prospect in the 2015 class.
