Why punish the school and the new players for something done in the past? Just fire the people responsible (they did) and get on with it. It had nothing to do with actual football team.

**** Franklin though.

Agree. The current players should not be punished for what the guy did.

100% correct IMO. F Franklin!

There should not be a team at PSU... That's the point. Admin and AD knew...SMU was shut down for paying players for a period of time. This is the worst of the worst

One had a direct and positive impact on the performance of the football program (SMU), the other had no kind of performance enhancing impact on the program.

I want this kid!!!! However I'm pretty sure he is an ohio state lock and personally if he goes to ohio state that tells me a lot about his character

No idea where he ends up but it sounds like TN isn't doing much with him anymore if you listen to what the TN sites have been saying lately. I guess they view him as too much of a tweener. To big for an OLB but too short and not lengthy enough for a true DE. Sounds like he is best suited to be a 3-4 LB.

I love Deberry's ceiling. Tweener label is sort of obsolete nowadays with the hybrid guys.

The number of tweeners at OLB/DE who succeed are increasing due to changes in style of offense .

Think he would be a great edge rusher for any one

+1. I'm a huge fan of his as well. Big-time talent for sure. I hope the VQ and 247 guys are wrong and they continue to heavily pursue him.

His top 8 is 100% in order too, unfortunately. Dude would flourish in a 3-4 in my opinion. Hell, he'd also do work in 4-3. He's just a baller.

Does not compute

What doesn't compute? The 1st quote talks about the Tennessee coaches maybe feeling he's a tweener, the 2nd quote, he states his own feelings about the prospect.
