Trust me I've had days where I waste time at work worrying about the numbers and all the elite guys we are in on, then I realize that Butch and co. are great at what they do. If they want 22, they will find a way.

Makes me excited realizing we are going to load up some serious talent and depth these first few years of the Butch era.

I can't really blaim him as I have had to run some points into the ground before as people will ask the same question or say the same thing 2.3 million times. I feel like a lot of people just don't read the threads

Wow people getting their jimmies rustled because Settle named a new leader. Oh noes it's over we lost him :loco:. Relax people. We are still very much in it for Settle.

Personally I don't think we lost him. But there is a reason he switched Clemson to #1. Could be possibly qualifying and the coaches don't feel he'll make it in or the stiff competition we are gonna bring in at DT in '15.

Personally I believe only true trolls should be put on ignore. If you put someone on ignore just because they state the same thing over and over or because they have a differing opinion and it rustles your jimmies it's childish.

The worst part of it all is when they ignore me they miss out on my future Vol QB scouting evaluations. Not to mention my charismatic personality. :eek:lol:

1- Couldn't qualify to TN
2- TN coaches don't think he'll make it in, so they backed off
3- Scared of "stiff competition"


Lol, so there's no scenario where he just liked Clemson more or felt like it was a better fit?

You have to understand most folks on this board take twitter very seriously. When a recruit says UT is their leader, that will not ever change. The ONLY way a recruit who has named UT his leader via twitter does not pick UT is:

1. The bagman
2. Character
3. Grades
4. We are in on better options
5. LV's numbers done screwed us again.

Unfortunately this isn't far from the truth in many people's eyes lol. I can see why he would make Clemson his top school. Clemson is absolutely KILLING it in recruiting lately. Anytime we are head-to-head with them for a recruit it is going to be a battle until the very end.

I think it is more that Dan Brooks and Dabo now how to recruit.

Don't think our staff is slow playing or changing our priorities one bit, I think you just see us surging for Tuttle and losing ground for Settle strictly because it is much easier to recruit against UNC than Clemson right now.

We will take either along with Jones and McKenzie and have a parade.

Clemson is his flavor of the month for June but it will be somebody else in July...Ultimately, I think he will either sign with Alabama or Tenn but I doubt he announces anything soon.
