They may want the DL to trim most of their bad weight, but mentioning they are roughly 280lbs isn't the same as wanting them to stay the weight. Again, when asked if he was "concerned" about our undersized DT's, Janzek recently stated that yes, he was.

If grades are indeed in play, could not hurt to show the kid a little love throughout the process. Like DJ, the staff could decide to go in another direction down the road.

Possibly. Just don't place him in a MS JUCO if you're the staff or you'll never see him again. Send him out to one of the KS JC's that you have a solid relationship with.

I agree. I still think Hutchinson is where UT needs to focus on putting their Juco kids. The one out in Oklahoma may be a good option as well with an ex Vol coaching there. Of course the Martin situation could affect that a bit, just have to see how it plays out.
