Austin is a great kid with good feet and size. He is from Virginia which means I am partial to him. I got to see him play twice last year. No matter what the ratings say, he was not as impressive as Coleman Thomas...not even close. Please keep in mind that Coleman was a senior, and Austin was a junior. Austin has another year of HS to get even stronger and to improve.
I think Austin is 5th or 6th on our board of offensive lineman that we have a good chance of landing. Unfortunately, I think we take 4 or 5 offensive linemen and he may be the odd man out. Stewart and Jones are in the bag. I think we get Richmond and Egoda. That is 4 and may be all we take. If we take a 5th Austin has a real chance unless someone else under the radar pops up or we can flip Marquel Harrell from Ole Piss.
I really hope Austin gets to be a Vol. I hear he has a great work ethic and he LOVES THE VOLS!
Not sayin its legit. But his wondering: someone posted the other day about Clark maybe being down the list. And then the coaches telling him to go ahead and take visits. Makes me wonder if its true. And they're just trying to buy some time before having to deal with taking his commitment or not??
Again not sayin this is what is for real going on. Just tossing that out there to see what y'all think

My gut read is that they want Clark to be a Vol, but think a commitment from him might create a large hurdle with Richmond.
Schools would use that against us heavily. "They already have 3 OL commits, and all 3 could play tackle."
I think Jones and Stewart are both guards in college. Jones could possibly be a tackle if they miss out on other guys at that position but I'm willing to bet he plays inside in college.
Kids going to need a lot of work at G if he does indeed slide inside in college. I remember someone posted a video of him at a camp at guard and it did not go very well at all. Kid looked like Erik Ainge trying to block John Henderson.

I know most will tell me I'm wrong, but I think this is one of the kids in a holding pattern as the coaches try and determine how many they can take this year. It will come down to that # and how long he is willing to wait to see if there is room.
