Chumaaaaa!
I don't think we get him. Not sure there will be room to take (5) OL guys and I also think he is just playing with UT fans a bit. He eliminated UT earlier, lost a ton of followers then not only put UT back in his top group but claimed they were #1. Kid likes to play twitter games and IMO, that is all he is doing. If the numbers work out to where the staff can take him and he wants to be a Vol, I'll be happy to be wrong. With a class of 17-20 at best, I doubt we take 5 guys on the OL.

i know where you stand on next year's class size, but you gotta think if he wanted in he would have a spot.
Tyree St. Louis ?
There are only so many spots. Of course the coaches can keep taking more and more commitments beyond the 85#. The problem is what if when the time comes to "make room", no one wants to leave? What if a kid does not choose to finish his football days elsewhere? What if they are content playing out their days on the practice field? I doubt the staff actually forces them out unless they have done something to call for it. To assume when taking commitments that you will have 25+ spots when you only have 11-12 currently is a huge risk IMO. If a kid is not able to see the field at UT with our lack of numbers the last few years, I doubt they are headed to the NFL anyway. It would not shock me at all to see kids pass on quietly walking away to open up a spot for someone else. A practice team guy and graduating from UT might just be enough for some kids with a year or 2 left vs going to Tennessee Tech or UT Chatt.
11-12? We have 18 seniors graduating this year, and around 16 or so are on scholarship. Some of the RS Juniors that are graduating and dont get any PT might leave. Along with the usual transfers and other reasons players leave, I see us taking at least 20.
"On Austin Clarke, he said Tennessee continues to be a team he thinks highly of. He also mentioned Clemson, penn state, and unc as other schools he will see. He said he will be back for another visit."

Hmm, no commitment on the visit. Maybe the staff is telling him to hold off till they see if they get Richmond and OL recruiting is done at only (3).

opcorn:
I know the SRs # was 18, but was not sure about a couple of the guys if they were on scholarship or not. I listed who I thought was NOT and don't think anyone said otherwise. That is where I got the 13 number then took 2 away for Robertson and Dews. That got me to 11. As I have said, I could see losing 3-5 kids as most programs always do. Do I think we lose 10+ as some swear we will? No, I don't. We'll see how it goes. Even if the class is 20, taking 5-6 guys on the OL is something I doubt happens.
