'15 VA WDE Josh Sweat

At the end of the day, we take all the elite D-Line and O-Line targets as we can get. That is the best way back to the top. I have confidence in CBJ. Just watching it all play out.

Not that I disagree, but I think we're at the point where saying "we focus on elite targets in *select trench*" is like saying "um" in a speech.

It's a crutch and you will be docked 5 likes.

The Nation's top prospect, Chesapeake (VA) Oscar Smith five star defensive end*Josh Sweathas informed 247Sports that he is planning to take his five official visits to: Virginia Tech, Florida State, Ohio State, Oregon and Georgia. While he has set his five official visits, he has not narrowed his list down to a top five. There are two other programs that are showing a lot of interest that could come into the picture late: Auburn and Texas A&M.

Well, then pretty please, go to FSU. Of those 5, that's the best option for Tennessee. Beat up on the Lizards every year.

Not even in his top 7 huh? While I did not see any chance UT would be his final landing spot, not even in the top 7 is a bit of a surprise.

There goes the neighborhood. Who really knows guys? I think if CBJ is/has recruited him, don't think it would go down like the article says. Either he didn't want him or it's not over. Anyone even know how much we've pursued him? Or was most of this thread a pipe dream?

IMO it was a lot of * gazing. I felt the kid has known all along where he was going. That was the reason he did not take any early trips. He did not seem to really care about the recruiting process. Now the free trips, he is going to enjoy. IMO before he takes the 1st one, he knows where he will play his college ball.

per P Fort

He had told people he wanted to make a return visit to Tennessee this fall for an official visit but that has obviously changed. But, at one point, he was telling Tennessee they would receive an official.

Even then I wondered if he would make the trip. He just never seemed that interested in the Vols for whatever reason.

VT or FSU, I hope.

VQ has said the staff wants 1 more rush DE.

Olenga, D'Andre Walker, Darrell Taylor, and Clemons...

Don't forget about Marlon Gonzalez out of Florida.

Do you wait for Kyle Phillips?

Can't really go wrong with any of them

You gotta think it's Philips or Olenga as of what we know right now. And Olenga is the guy they said they could leave dangling in the wind until they wanted. Of course, he could take offense to that and go somewhere else

Smoke screen.
Vol lock.

Could end up being walker and atkinson

I thought Atkinson was a LB? I guess he could be considered elsewhere, but I thought he was a for sure LB prospect.

Isn't Walker the one who is a heavy lean to SC, and from the 14 class, or am I mixing him up with someone else.
