I think the best thing about Kongbo coming to UT as green as he is, is that I trust Stripling with his position group more than about any other coach in the country.

The hype is big time. This is his first time playing this level of football, so I'll try and keep expectations down. He is someone who I'll be looking for to come on more and more as the year goes on.

I think we have created Kongbo his very own logo. I love what this staff does in recruiting. We are always fresh with our ideas.

Well ziti you convinced me we had to have this dude...Now I'm excited to see what he can do. Hope he is everything he is hyped up to be. Maybe leave here a juco great like Little or Chuck Smith.

You never know when just that one recruit is going to push you over the top....

For example, imagine where we'd be if we had Vonn Bell on this team. Do we make a play that is the difference in the Oklahoma game? What about that secondary breakdown vs Florida? I think Kongbo could be the piece that sets us over the top. Corey Vereen is a nice player but Kongbo has the chance to be special here and be one of the things that grows this defense from good to great in 2016.

Kongbo is going to be good, really damn good. But I think hes going to be a lot like KMac because of how new he really is to football. I think he will shine the second half of the year but likely struggle early.

I like to think our DLine will be as fresh as daisies in the 4th quarter while the other teams Oline will be dragging their knuckles. Hopefully we get to see lots of sacks next year.

He won't need to be THE GUY early tho...if he's backing up Barnett, that is. Anyone have an early indication of which side he's playing?

Kongbo and Barnett will be the reason we break the streak against UF this year.

They are going to go straight Demarcus Ware/ Von Miller on Tom Brady to whoever the Gators trot out there.

I'm pumped to see this guy hit the field this fall and see him getting after the qb, but i'm honestly more excited (for this season at least) to taylor and phillips this fall and to see their development. Gonna be a fun year boys, glad to be here with all of ya'll to enjoy it.
