'16 FL CB Tyler Byrd (UT Commit 2/2/16)

Even if he doesn't flip, it feels good to be on the other side of the fence giving other coaches and fan bases hell over a their commit.

Just watched his hudl and stopped after the 3rd play. The one cut back in traffic is something you can't teach.Tremendous athletic ability.

Can't believe no one has pegged him for the STAR position. What's the use of a new specialty position if we don't project every new recruit to play there? I expected more from you guys.

I hope we take a page from Northwestern's book and play him at the Super position.

I mean, we played them in the bowl game so we have to use part of their offensive and defensive scheme next year, right?

Cane fan talking football:

"Blah, blah, national championship. Blah, blah, blah, national championship, blah, blah, national championship."

That's when you go back at them and say "what have you won since your booster got busted paying players and buying drugs and hookers for them?"

Haven't you heard the news, Hurd has already locked down the STAR position. He is too tall for running back, and we are full at TE, so we are making him the STAR of the defense.

I completely agree, but once you see Byrd in person you'll know what I mean. I don't think people quite understand the superstars we are getting in CFA and Byrd (if he commits). These guys have it; it just comes natural to them.

Might Byrd be a potential starter at NB? A CB trio of Cam, Martin, and Byrd sounds legit to me.
