What Tatum is evaluating has changed over the couse of the last month as it's become less about the coaches and more about the players.

“Academics, relationships with the team,” Tatum said of what's key. “How you fit in the locker room. The players you are around them 24/7. Coaches come and go. At first it was first based off coaches, but it's eye opening when you get on Twitter and you see coaches move around every day.”

I like these lean OT's coming into the program. UT can add some good weight instead of trying to get rid of some bad weight. A year in the weight room and proper nutrition he will have time to develop and learn the system.

In truth I do not see how Marcus is a 3* unless you believe a recruiting service know more than 7 current bowl teams from the SEC along with numerous other good programs.

Scott was pivotal in giving Tennessee a surge down the stretch. As you could have probably told from Brent's conversation with him a week ago, Tatum really felt like he had a connection with Scott along with the rest of this staff.

I talked to someone in Florida today and the Gators were trying to get him to hold off on making a decision and will still try and land an OV, but this is a nice get for the Vols after the Gators have essentially led for a few months.

You have to give some credit to Jashon Robertson as well. These two guys really hit it off."
