I'll be there.

Can't miss this one.

Gonna be wearing your UT gear under your Gator outfit so when we whoop dat azz you can run into the bathroom and swap out in one of the crapper stalls? We all know you are a closet Vol fan so this would be a great time to be able to come out of the closet!

Vol gear from the outset, imo. HG knows this streak is ending.

This guy can't be as good as Johnson or Matthews right? And I'd think the only other lineman we are gonna take is Dickerson. Let UF have him.

But.. Wouldn't this be the one you want to miss?

"Give McElwain time.."
"He's gotta get HIS guys in first"
"Saban endorses him He's gotta be good"

Yeah.. Can't wait to hear all this nonsense.. Same crap we spewed trying to talk ourselves into getting behind Derek Dooley aka the worst coach in the history of the universe.

personally, I think that the Mac-Dooley comparison this site has become so fond of is quite frankly undeserved and more than a little bit premature. Make fun of his lousy recruiting, sure. Make fun of his stupid looking and eminently punchable face. But don't compare a man who's actually accomplished something of worth in a difficult profession to someone who rode his daddy's name to a career.

What about the Washington Generals coach? I mean he loses to the Globetrotters every time...DD can't be worse than him, can he?

I don't understand it myself. I understood the Muschamp-DD comparisons but CMac has been successful as a HC and OC at every stop. Im not sure he'll be the answer but he's more qualified than either Dooley and WM to lead a SEC program.

The Generals and their coach are paid to lose to the Globetrotters to help make them look good and for the fans that attend the games. Dooley was paid big bucks to win games and to recruit great players. He missed.

Mac is recruiting Florida. He may end up being a great coach on the field but you can be borderline brain dead and recruit Florida well with all the instate talent. See Ron Zook for example.

I do think if he wins, recruiting will in a way take care of itself but let's see how he does with the conference improving around him. This is one of the most depleted UF teams I've seen in a while, UF better hope the guy is a great coach.

Recruiting will be fine. Fla finished top5 after going 4-8.

As for the roster it has some holes but its not deleted as media and fans lead you to believe.

Mac.has done a wonderful job filling gaps this offseason imo.

Florida has always taken advantage of instate talent every year so of course they'll be fine in recruiting. However Mac will have a true test in the SEC. I'm not sold on them yet.
