Recruiting will be fine. Fla finished top5 after going 4-8.
As for the roster it has some holes but its not deleted as media and fans lead you to believe.
Mac.has done a wonderful job filling gaps this offseason imo.
The No. 1 OT in Florida to visit Vols next week
________________________________________
Daytona Beach (Fla.) Mainland offensive tackle Marcus Tatum has scheduled two SEC visits for next week, including with Tennessee. I'm hearing Florida and Tennessee are the two schools catching his full attention heading into the season.
Down yr for OTs in Fla. Some pretty solid OG/C this cycle. Next yr is loaded at the position tho.
Tatum should announce for UF soon.
Marcus Tatum from Daytona Beach, Fla., is headed up as well this weekend and Tennessee has made a very good impression on the big offensive tackle the last few months since offering. Florida is the team to beat at the moment, but a strong visit this weekend could go a long ways to helping the Vols sway Tatum.
On the offensive side of things, we continue to hear good things about where Tennessee stands with Marcus Tatum. While the Daytona Beach, Fla., standout is thought to be a Florida lean, Tennessee is closing ground. Look for an official visit to come later in the season from Tatum.
Look for Don Mahoney to swing by Mainland High School next Friday to see Tatum as well as a few others at the school.
Don Mahoney is expected to be in Orlando, Fla., at Dr. Phillips High School where Marcus Tatum and his Mainland H.S. team is playing. Tatum continues to be a Tennessee-Florida battle and the Vols are likely to receive an official visit down the line. Look for Tatum at the Tennessee-Florida game on Saturday.
Florida offensive lineman Marcus Tatum told our Florida site this morning that he will be officially visiting Tennessee the weekend of the South Carolina game. That is turning into a very important weekend.
Pat Bethel is expected in as well. Landon Dickerson will be here on an unofficial. I still think more names will be added.
Daytona Beach, Fla., offensive lineman Marcus Tatum will be on his official visit to Knoxville as well for the South Carolina game. Florida remains the leader for Tatum but Tennessee has been a team that's caught his attention for a while now, ever since he was on campus for an Orange Carpet Day over the summer. The Vols landing Tatum would still be considered an upset at this point, but they will have the chance to impress him.
