A large part of that rushing stat is....Dobbs rushing...which he often HAS to, because the pocket broke down.
Wondering how long you spent trying to find the one or two people saying they didn't want him out of the myriads who do want him, just to prove a tired point that message board posters like to say "didn't want him anyway."
At the end of the year, I would have to say it would be 2 coaches. Azzani and Mahoney. Both units have greatly under-performed.
Have not heard anything about Mahoney. Seems the word is most of his squad likes him and is happy with him. The only one I have heard is Azzani. We will see the difference in the wideouts today since Butch has assumed most of the WR duties.

Besides, you don't want a mass exodus of coaches. One guy being replaced isn't too bad of a transition. You start losing multiple guys and the transition is much more difficult. O-line hasn't been that bad this year compared to last year. As long as there is progression, there is no need for a change. And the guy you are responding to has a history of talking out of his backside anyways.

No you dont need a mass exodus of coaches. Besides Mahoney is fine and is getting alot of respect on the recruiting trail as well. Kids are noticing more and more on the way he is developing the players he has. Multiple recruits are looking at what they do the rest of the season. If they continue to develope nicely we could wind up with some stud offensive lineman for the next few classes. Also need to hold off future teams from trying to lure him away.
I understand where you are coming from I know info that is given is not always right but I have 2 boosters that are close to the program and have privilages to info regarding recruiting and coaches. Players are disgruntled about the lack of coaching and developing they are getting. If you are looking for names of players I for one would not release those in order to protect the players since both coaches and players read these message boards.
And I am not trying to be mean or rude but you can take it or leave it. But there is 2 posters on this board who from different sources said that their is almost a guarantee coaching change at the end of the season. If Eazy would like to release the names of players then that is his choice but I dont think he would either for the same reasons I have given you.
I think Mahoney is safe. Again he has been with Butch a long time. Since 1998 if I remember correctly. Why anyone thinks Mahoney needs to go is beyond me. Has developed Kerbyson, Robertson, Wiesman, and Kendrick. I believe Wiesman and Kendrick are a little limited talent-wise, so we say how prepared he had Hall and Jones. He's a good coach and is doing good things at UT.
PW has a hamstring injury and is going under further evaluation here. It was bad enough to put him on crutches. The rest of the WR are fine. Just excited to see how they do under CBJ.
