I know this is heresy, but I'm starting to wonder a little bit about KM. We're 2/3 through the season and he hasn't really shown much.
Vickers will be a starter next year

It's easier to dominate an OL 1 on 1. It's different in game situations and he still has looked like a handful. When he gets a little stronger, look out.
Mckenzie 14 tackles 1 Forced Fumble
Tuttle 10 Tackles (6 games)
Vickers 13 tackles 1 TFL
Williams 14 tackles 1 sack 2.5 TFLs
O'Brien 6 tackles 1 sack 1 tfl
I would say he is doing well for a true freshmen. producing on the same level as the older guys.
Don't think strength is the problem. He stalemates or pushes back most he goes up against 1 on 1. It is more of quickness and endurance issue with him. He still needs to lose a little weight. Next year he should be dominant.
The reason Shy has made more of an impact is because of his combination of size/strength/lateral movement.
Just to put this in perspective, Albert Haynesworth had 11 tackles (2 TFL) his freshman year. Big John had 43 tackles and 4 sacks as an RS FR. McKenzie didn't play as much at the start of the season due to conditioning, but has definitely made his presence felt since Shy's injury.
I'm missing what you're seeing here. When I watch the video, Vickers gets too high and gets driven back too much. Not saying he can't be a solid contributor, but he's got some improving to do before he moves past Tuttle, Kmac, and IMO OBrien.
OBrien has a surprisingly quick first step resulting is a lot of penetration. Not sure if he can be counted on though due to his off the field issues.
Go back and watch the DL video and see if you don't agree.
