Didn't chubb tear all 3 ligaments in his knee? Anything can happen, but coming off of major reconstructive surgery and not skipping a beat would be hard to do. If not more mental than physical.
Devonte Lambert, Michael Goggans, and Gabe Wright ring a bell? Never underestimate AU's ability to "influence" a recruit at the last minute or win a recruiting battle.
and by "strange" you mean "illegal in most countries, including the ones that start with 'I' and 'A'."
They aren't factoring in:Bud Elliot CBed Brown to Auburn this morning
Derrick Brown's Crystal Ball Predictions
I've torn my ACL and can attest that one of the biggest roadblocks is mentally. You have to work so hard to get back into physical shape and then you have to believe the first contact you get from the field, court, etc. won't blow out your knee again. You have to trust that all your training has prepared you and your knee to perform again at the highest level. It's a big hurdle but one that you have to make if you expect to play again
Says who, exactly? We got a very slim chance but we do have a chance.
24/7 picking the Vols as the team to watch:
Signing Day rundown: SEC
"Team to watch in the final week: Tennessee
The stars are aligning for Tennessee to have big-time close. After a relatively quiet recruiting cycle, Butch Jones suddenly has the Vols on the move with four-stars like Nigel Warrior, Jonathan Kongbo, Tyler Byrd and five-stars Landon Dickerson and Derrick Brown.
Biggest remaining recruiting battle: DT, Derrick Brown
Alabama, Mississippi State, Georgia, Auburn and Tennessee are all battling for the nation's No. 9 prospect. This one looks like it's boiling down to a Georgia and Auburn battle though with Tennessee getting one final shot to shift the momentum next weekend."
