Then what was the point of that quote posted here? That was from last spring? Okay. The silly season applies to VN too...

We have a shot with this last visit but clearly Auburn has an edge. It's also clear that Georgia fans would MUCH rather that he pick the barn than Tennessee. Kind of funny.

This seems like groupthink to me. Some analysts are CB'ing him to Auburn, but publicly, nothing has been said. Right? So many fans are assuming the analysts are correct when the family has played things close to the vest. Can't account for anything said privately.

In fact, Brown's tweets have been somewhat favorable toward the Vols.

I don't think things change by the day with this family. Seems like they've been very level-headed. If true, the Vols have a decent chance of him agreeing to join UT.

If Brown goes to Auburn it's not because of shadiness. His recruitment hasn't been like that. If he goes it's because he grew up an Auburn fan and simply wants to play there.

That being said, it seems like he is just waiting to commit to us after his visit this weekend. And our staff is pretty flipping good with visits soon before NSD. I'm fairly confident even though I've thought Auburn has led for a while.

I just don't get it.

What is Brown's relationship/connection with Auburn? And why are all these analysts picking him to choose them?

From the outside looking in, I don't see why anyone would want to go play for Auburn right now. There is a very good chance that anyone who commits to them now will be playing for a different coaching staff by the time they graduate.

isn't the in for Brown that the UGA DL coach has had a relationship with him since Brown was in 9th grade? And now that DL coach is at Auburn

I'm just going to assume we aren't getting Daniel, Brown, Dickerson, or Kongbo and then if one or more sign with us..it will be a nice NSD surprise

If we missed on all of those, woah could be crushing. NSD is definitely setting up to be an epic victory or epic failure. 100x more suspenseful than the last couple we have had.

If we get Warrior and Byrd, I think that still has to be a success. Byrd was a complete afterthought a couple weeks ago and he is a top 100 nationwide player.

Yes that will definitely be nice and we would probably finish top 25. It would suck to finish the year outside top 10 in recruiting though with all the guys we are in on. We have the potential to finish 6-10.

We can't sign enough players to slide into the 6-10 spot i would say 13 is as high as we can go considering Number constrains.

Stop worrying about rankings, if we get the players we are after and have a legit shot at getting will make this a very good class. The difference between the 10th ranked class and the 15th ranked class is minimal
