Butch is not a world beater on NSD. traditionally (3 years) hes had the class sewn up.

Tennessee hasnt been hot om NSD in a while. i just dont see the optimism here, granted the 29th is a big recruiting visit day. ill be happy if Butch can prove me wrong. im the eternal skeptic. Butch is the man. But, too many new coaches out there.

To be fair most of the spots are already locked up on nsd usually.

Wouldn't it make sense to take 4-5 WRs with North leaving? Just seems that we need the depth.

We just dont have room this year. Next year i hope we take 3 or 4. North leaving doesnt impact this team at all he was a total non factor.

True but I think there is a difference in how far certain schools and coaches are willing to push the envelope. Kiffin of all people took himself out of the Newton recruitment once they starting asking for $150k based on what MS State and Auburn were throwing out there.

MS State didn't throw it out there. When MS St alums got word that was Newton's asking price they're the ones who squealed.

Hope so, with North gone, he could see lots of playing time. Certainly by soph season for sure, lose probably every starting Wr then.

I would think that if Ole Miss does pull Callaway, that would only help us out with Mykel Jones.

IIRC, M. Jones is no longer a take for Bama which would leave Jones down to Ole Miss and ourselves. Would be nice to get an opinion from an Ole Miss fan but I don't think they have internet in the trailer park yet.
