'16 JUCO CB Desmond Henderson (UT commit 9/17/15)

I'm not a fan of making a young man wait if an employer is offering millions of dollars. He'll never get a job making that amount of money at the same age.

These are two different arguments.

Wholeheartedly agree with you, just pointing out the status quo is not great for the COLLEGE GAME. Like the product we watch every Saturday maybe gets better with Seniors in the field. No it's not ideal for the player. But that's a different argument.

Exactly my point. I said it would make college football better. No other considerations in my comment.

I could see some Clowney sandbagging situations, but overall, the level of play should increase across the board

You'll have seniors playing not to get hurt. Wouldn't be fun. But good that we're getting back to the point of having to worry about good players jumping. :)

Fair point. Wonder if North is even just coasting this year thinking he has equity from... Ohhhh.... About 4 touchdown catches.

Ha Ha. Sarcasm is fun isn't it? It allows people who are normally not clever to feel as such. Maybe you and filmboy can see if there is a package deal on posters for all of these secret recruits that no one knows about other than Butch Jones. I truly believe we could get a commit from a kid paralyzed from the waist down and some of you would yell 'Boom'....'Watch his film'!
So do u think we're on our way back down & CBJ on his way out?

You talking about OU? Might wanna double check if so. They weren't a better team than us.

No. People keep digging CBJ over his references to youth, but the team is young. How does that matter? It matters when we end up playing Jumper instead Kirkland, because even though Kirkland is clearly better, his lack of experience gave the staff enough concern that they wouldn't start him. So if it can be argued that Jumper cost us the game, then it seems reasonable to say that youth is a problem.

OU had three OL making their first road start.

That offer list though....

Maybe he's been set on Tennessee for a long time, so no one wasted serious time trying to convince him otherwise.

As for the UABs and UTCs, sometimes I think these schools throw out "safety net" offers. If the player makes a "bad decision" that causes the top school to rescind their offer, they're on record with the player as having been interested in him from the start (and willing to work with a player who's hopefully learned his lesson).

Cam stock is skyrocketing among scouts. He's not getting thrown at and it's evident now.

Breaker I think Cam is the hardest hitting corner I can ever remember in college.I can think if at least 4 different players he has put out of the game.Plus his coverage skills on top of that.Do you ever remember a harder hitting corner than Cam.

No worries.
The burn you just hit me with prolly took care of them.
We good now

No burn intended. I was seriously concerned about those worms. There are a particular variety that attacks the brain causing the area of the brain that detects sarcasm to be effected.

I think you and a lot of others are underestimating what CBJ is doing here. He's building a winning culture, but he is also really pushing academics and the importance of a degree. These players especially are the ones that will known as the enforcers that brought Tennessee back and they won't leave until it's done. Another thing to consider is players don't leave early a lot in college football.
