'16 JUCO WR Jeff George (UT commit 6/6/15)

For someone who for some reason can't load his HUDL, who does Jeff George remind you of as a WR?

Long strider and lanky like Justin Hunter with a similar crossing/dig route ability. Covers a lot of ground without appearing to try too hard. Not quite the hops, but still good. The highlights show he catches with his hands and many times at the apex. Will need work on the physical aspect as it will be much more difficult to get separation at this level.

Awesome, thanks man

Randy Moss, but better speed and size.
Jerry Rice, but better hands
Anquan Boldin, but more physical
Steve Smith, but more Alpha
Calvin Johnson, but they call him "Optimus Prime."

He said had a really good visit yesterday, despite the 11 hour drive from Kansas City, and said Tennesse 'probably leads' after being on campus all day Friday. We will have the full story tomorrow but Tennessee positioned itself well after the visit. He still is trying to get back to campus for camp on Saturday but as of this evening he wasn't positive he would be able to make it.

The redshirt sophomore WR from Dodge City (Kan.) Community College said Tennessee is “probably my top school” following his first trip to Knoxville, and he admitted the thought of committing to the Vols at least crossed his mind while he was there.

“It was great, actually. It went real well,” said George, who’s expected to be one of the top junior-college wide receivers in the 2016 class.

“I mean, everything really stood out. I’ve never seen anything like that before. It was crazy. It was amazing. (I liked) the facilities and the football stadium. I’ve never seen a football stadium that big in my life.

“I definitely like them a lot. They’re probably my top school right now.”

The 6-foot-6, 187-pound George said he’s hoping to decide on a college before the start of the upcoming season, but he currently is planning to visit at least a few other schools before making his choice.

Still, he said Tennessee already has made a big impression on him, and he could visit the Vols again Friday with his position coach for one of their camps.

“I think I’m still going back (this week),” George said. “I’ve got to check with my wide receiver coach and make sure, but I think I am.”

George, a former standout at Leavenworth (Kan.) High School, said his parents accompanied him on the trip, and they “were amazed, also,” and “loved everything about it.”

He said he spent plenty of time with Tennessee coach Butch Jones, wide receivers coach Zach Azzanni and offensive quality control assistant Kevin Koger while he was on campus. Azzanni made it clear to George that he’s a high priority for the Vols.

He will be needed next year with others leaving. Especially if North has a breakout year at Reciever.

He shoulda found a female(s) to shack up with for a week until the camp rolled around. Nothing better than a week in Knoxville with few obligations.
