"I love it and have ever since I came here last week. This week it was the same think. I love it," George said. "My wide receiver coach from Dodge City came and worked the camp so I came down with him. I wanted to see how he felt about things too.

"Just seeing everything twice was good. We went up on top of the stadium which was really cool. It was just an awesome visit again. I knew this was probably where I wanted to be. I wasn't sure I was going to do it this soon. But I just decided it was the right thing to do."

The 6-6, 193 pound receiver also created his relationship with receivers coach Zach Azzanni and some current players as big factors in becoming comfortable with all things orange the last couple of weeks. "It's very important. He's been talking to me for a couple of months now. Meeting him and being around him the last couple of weeks has been good.

"It was real cool (to hang out with players) to make sure I was comfortable around them," George offered. "I talked to Marquez North a bunch and was around Neiko Creamer. Those were the two guys I was around the most."

"How the coaching staff treats me and how I will be cared about if I come here," George said of things that stood out. "Of course the stadium you can't be it. I hung out with they players. They were great. You just can't beat Tennessee."

SCOUTING REPORT ON GEORGE

"It's hard to miss George on film with his big, 6-6 frame. And one of his best attributes is that George knows how to use his frame to shield himself from defenders. He also shows the ability to get down the field and make plays in the air; he doesn't look uncomfortable at all making the tough catches on jump balls.

"It's hard not to imagine George not being a big red zone target over the next few years in Knoxville. George should also see immediate playing time once he arrives in Knoxville knowing that Zach Azzanni likes to use up to 10 to 12 wideouts in a game and with three receivers scheduled to graduate after 2015 and even more after 2016, he will have the opportunity to catch a significant about of balls over the next two years."

Personally not a big fan of 2 to play 2 juco wide receivers unless they are cant miss type players. Not seeing that with George. Surprisingly CBJ didn't ask what I thought though.

Just wondered what you didn't see that Butch did. What would you have told Butch about George that would have changed his mind? Looked like George had good hands and height and ability to catch the ball.
Just wondered.

I too prefer CP84 or Pearson type of quality, but maybe he will show us what the coaches already see during this season of JUCO ball.

Fair. I am however a fan of big bodied, 6'6 receivers that know how to use that frame to their advantage.

Has a lot of the natural qualities to be a good wide receiver. Size, hands, body control. The other stuff can be taught or earned in the weight room.

Put 15-20 pounds of good weight on him and teach him hand technique at the line of scrimmage. I think we'll like what we have in this kid.

theres alot to like about this kid. very talented and a very high ceiling. His tape from the 2015 spring is nice even though they are just out there working out in shorts. Its pretty easy to see the talent. Also quite amazing the people who keep doubting Butch's evaluation. I remember when ppl doubted him about offering pearson, weatherd, moseley and owen williams too. I also believe Darrell Miller, Neiko Creamer, Vincent Perry and Joc Bruce are going to make some believers out of the doubters. He knows what hes doing.
