Yep. Look at what Bama did with Jarran reed in the 2014 class. Everybody was asking why they would take a JUCO DT with 2 years to play when they had so much young talent at DT already. Two years later and he was a key piece in the best front seven in the country and a shoe in to be a first round pick.
Yeah major trend there.
Why? Because you say so? My opinion is the long term health of a program thrives better by bringing freshmen in and developing them to contribute for multiple years. Not to mention, many JUCO players struggled with grades to be in the position to be a JUCO player to begin with. And what exactly does that list prove? I mean I can name a bunch of players that came to this program as freshmen and succeeded as well. Personally I think your whole point is ridiculous. Here's 5 guys that didn't live up to their hype.
Dontavius Blair
Darrington Sentimore
Kenny O'Neal
Maurice Couch
Brent Vinson
And Cordarrelle was a one and done kid that could barely last a semester without flunking out. The 'JUCO game' that you slung parenthesis around isn't about getting a timely recruit or 2. It's relying on 4-5 guys every recruiting period to fill out a class. So next time think a little longer before you refer to something as ridiculous and hit send.
Tennessee coaches met with Jeffery Simmons Thursday night on their way back to Knoxville. Like Clark, that one feels like a long shot but the Vols haven't given up there, either. He will see Ole Miss this weekend and we continue to hear it's between Ole Miss, Alabama and Mississippi State.
If Tennessee misses out on Brown, Kongbo, Simmons and Clark, at this point we don't see them taking another defensive lineman. Instead, look for that spot to go to a skill player, likely Moss or Williams, maybe both depending on how things work out.

Hope the kid bounces back.... Got to think before acting...
There's a bit more to the story than him just punching a woman on the ground. No them type of actions are a sign of bigger problems. Good luck, but he will have much bigger hurdles now and he should. He has some issues that need to be addressed, this wasn't some guy attacking him this was him hitting a woman down on the ground. The video shows it for what it was, pure thuggish hitting a woman who was already on the ground.
