'16 NC OG Landon Dickerson

This news is underappreciated. When you not only have a culture, but 1) require that everyone fit it, regardless of talent level, and 2) the team leadership is bought into it and understands it well enough to evaluate it in others...that's huge.

Posts like these are hilarious in hindsight...and I’m not meaning to call SS out because I believed this same kind of thing about BJs culture whole heartedly at the time...

Makes me wonder what we’ll be saying about Pruitts culture in 3-5 years

All anyone can do is give the guy that was hired time to prove one way or the other. There are those that give the HC a wide swath and lean their interpretation positive and there are those that fired the guy when his name didn’t match their personal acceptable list...and those in between. No one should apologize or crow when their team’s coaching fails. My take on Pruitt is that he’s technically solid and a good to great recruiter. Wish he could channel a little more personal magnetism, but there hugely successful coaches that don’t. My approach works for me.

This guy was a legit big time O-lineman we wanted. He didn't want us and Butch. We now have coaches he would want to play for and with Trey probably done, he would be a real good addition of somebody who can really play when healthy.

Maybe some highly thought of posters can go to Freak and tell him about some of the posters that doesn't 't fit VN's culture and have them banned.

Price started the thread and then commented that he was their best OL before getting injured. This feels like he’s going to be a Vol.
Chose FSU over Vols out of HS, if I'm not mistaken. Actually, it seems like Butch may have let up in his recruitment in the last week or so. Was "ranked" #31 overall coming out of HS; we took Ryan Johnson, Marcus Tatum, and Nathan Niehaus that year.

Edited: Seems some are remembering his recruitment the same way I am...

This is a guy I really really though Butch missed on back in the day, but tbh he seems to have sucked for fsu.

According to FSU writers he was one of FSUs best lineman. Think he had some injuries last year but would be a good pick up.

"best" on that line doesnt say a ton. About like richmond. But if staff wants him, let's ride.

Just don't know how he'll fit in. Callahan makes it sound like we'd have to go to extremes to take any transfer
