Rucker update...
"Just spoke with four-star RB prospect B.J. Emmons No. 107 overall in the 247Sports Composite from North Carolina.
Couple of quick things.
- Tennessee definitely helped its cause today. "Today was a good day for Tennessee. Definitely a good day." Said he wants to come back again as soon as possible.
- He's "wide open" and "definitely" won't make a decision until February, wants to take all five official visits. Florida is locked in for an official. Tennessee almost certainly will get one, too.
- He feels "a lot less pressure" now that he's de-committed from Georgia, and that the distance between him and the Dawgs just kept getting "bigger and bigger" over time, and that it's a long way from February but he doesn't see himself going to Georgia. Wouldn't rule it out, though.
- He definitely likes Tennessee and Alabama, but Florida State is definitely in the picture, too. He said that's the one non-SEC school he's definitely interested in.
JMO, but this kid seems like one who's definitely going to soak in the recruiting experience for a while and doesn't want to commit anywhere for a while. But he definitely likes Tennessee a lot, and he said Tennessee isn't pressuring him to commit or anything like that, which is probably a good idea for Tennessee's sake."
