The competition is really gonna amp up come fall.

Jones is VERY good.

I think all the guys we have at QB need to be here. It's not about setting records for some kids... its' about winning and giving yourself a shot of playing professionally once day. They all need to hone their skills. It takes time...

Because of Dobbs there is no pressure on any of these young guys to be the guy. One of them needs to separate eventually, but even then... because of how this offense is ran... you will need a second guy to be ready.

So no one should feel like if they don't "start" they have lost their chance to play for this team.

I totally agree that a second QB being developed is a huge issue. Dobbs goes down and Butch is on the seat IMO. I love the Debord hire and think a no. 2 option will be remarkably better than the past two seasons.

Well, the Vols got their franchise QB. Guarantano does it all and does it well. CBJ and CBD will develop him the right way. While he should redshirt his first year, learn the offense, and hit the weight room, he may be just too good to keep off the field. Is he planning to be an EE?
