OSU fans saying he didn't want competition are ignorant. We play in the SEC, which has won more national championships in the modern era (2000 and forward is what I count as modern era) than all the other conferences combined. Now this isn't a rant of OSU vs UT because right now OSU is definitely a better team but overall UT plays the harder schedule and has a big QB competition as well. Jarrett wished to play in a tough football league in the SEC and challenge himself instead of just going through the motions. In the end we got the #1 QB on CUM's board and every OSU fan is just upset about it.

He didn't want competition? What is that ignorant garbage? We have 4 QBs on the roster, 3 of them are only a year older than him. Stupid.
I am an OSU fan and I am not upset about it.
Gratz tenn fans!
What does "going through the motions" mean btw?
Playing Penn State, Indiana, Rutgers, Maryland and Illinois. Now the Big ten is down due to Michigan being about as bad as UT in the past few years but overall SEC>Big 10. Now this isn't an OSU vs UT argument because I cant argue that since OSU won it all.

I believe I said it in this thread earlier. Him picking us over OSU doesn't really hurt OSU as much as it helps us. In all actuality, If they all pan out, it puts us closer to OSU's level at QB. Four 4* QB's in two years (hopefully) gets us back to where we need to be.
