'16 SC RB Tavien Feaster

So football started 6 years ago? Good to know. You guys got a nice little back and forth rivalry going with Vandy then.

Also, let's go back and edit the past 10 pages about how much better of a program Tenn is than Clemson, b/c that's certainly not been the case the past 6 years.

See how that works when you try to distort facts by putting them in a vacuum?

He's just pulling your chain palmer.I agree all but the last few years Clemson has been the flagship program for the state of SC.I also agree that Tennessee will make a hell of a run on Feaster. But in the end a 4 year head start by CU may be to much to overcome.Plus the Mama thing.Relax I enjoy your in put on the board.

Have you not judged us (UT) by a short period of time, and based your opinion of Clemson being a better football program by that short time period?

Use that "vacuum", young lady?

I get it, but trust me if you live in this state and you're not careful you might actually believe that football only started 6 years ago.

Read the top post. Interesting. I highly doubt Dabo would give Feaster the boot. The whole topic is also hilarious. They worried.

I support Dabo's stance.

1. Commit to Clemson
2. Visit Tennessee
3. Dabo pulls scholie
4. We get the player

Building championships out there in SC

I understand but Iam a firm believer that numbers don't lie.Historically Clemson is the better program in state.

Spent a considerable amount of time in SC a few years back. While USCjr seemed to have more fans, They definitely aren't the better football program. Maybe USCjr has been better the last 8 years or so, but over the long haul, it isn't close. Clemson has done a much better job recruiting the past few years, but can't seem to put it all together on the field.

After reading some of the stupidity/childishness/denial on the Clemson boards, I hope we pull this off so bad. Not just for us, but to see the hurt and disappointment on their faces when a "second tier" school steals a kid that they have been recruiting for 4 years. Clemson acting like they have the moral high ground to call any school cheaters is the biggest ****ing joke I've seen in a while.

Didn't realize 2nd tier equals top 10 all time program.

I found this thread a little interesting. Not really a full fledged panic but a little bit of unease there. I think we at the very least have a foot in the door. If momma visits I'll get excited because I think we can then actually win the battle. Let's see how Feaster feels when the high of the OV wears off a bit.

Seems as if the Clemson Insider has more level headed posters than TigerBait, or whatever it's called. But I did find this gem.

I don't expect Tennessee to be as good as people thing this year. I was very unimpressed by what I saw from Jalen Hurd last year. He's huge, but he is slow and lacks vision.

Nobody does less with more than Butch Jones. He's recruited like gangbusters the last few years... But I guess people in Knoxville get pretty pumped about 6 and 7 win seasons nowadays

They do realize that Butch has only been at Tenn for two seasons, right? I have no idea where anybody gets the 'Butch does less with more' idea...and the Hurd comments aren't worth dignifying with a response. It's either ignorance or wishful thinking all around.

Damn, I hope we see Clemson in a Bowl this year.

Which fans were the ones that had Butch Davis and Butch Jones so confused last year? :eek:lol:

If you post on a team message board, you are a fan. Fans, by definition, are a bit over the top. Some fans can balance their fanaticism with reason. Some, not so much. Every fanbase will contain crazies, and the bigger the fanbase, the greater probability of crazies. I personally enjoy the insight of our resident kitty fan and others like HG. Hang around y'all.

I do think the CU fan that thinks that CBJ underperforms completely underestimates 1) how down we were in talent, 2) how costly the loss of both lines was, and 3) how weak the play calling was. Pretty sure the hype from the experts is due to them seeing the reality. Soon...

I don't know where the hell people get the idea that Butch (and even going back to Dooley) has fielded a Bama level roster in recent years and failed to win with it.

At first I thought it was just dumb Vandy fans, but I'm seeing it from more and more fanbases lately.

To be fair, we said the same thing about Ole Miss and their recruits. :peace2:

But if that's how Clemson justifies losing a player to UT, so be it. It's not like UT is a second-rate school with sub-par facilities in the middle of nowhere. Anyone with an objective look at things will see that. I can certainly understand how a mom would want her son close, however, UT isn't that far away. Clemson is closer, but it's almost negligible when it comes to travel time. An extra hour isn't far.

We'll see what happens and what Tavien says in the next few weeks. By then we'll know if the interest has some staying power.

The difference is, we were right about ole miss. Just look at the situation with their star OT.

Not going to lie, that was pretty brutal trying to go through the last few pages.

The only thing worse than reading Tigernet, is having the very worst posts on tigernet posted on a rivals site and having them post equally stupid stuff in response.

I'm convinced you can find whatever you are looking for online. If you're looking for ridiculous posts to try and portray a whole fanbase, it's not going to be very hard (especially here in the south).

I can assure you the conversation is much different on the board I frequent. IMO, it's simply a matter of what you choose to hear.

Your input is appreciated. You don't get emotional or resort to petty insults. This forum is all about the decisions of 17-18 year olds which can be unpredictable at times and not worth losing one's composure over.

You think that's bad... There's an ole miss fan in the Bryce Matthews thread that thinks football started last year.
