'16 TN ATH Darel Middleton (Tennessee signee)

"He and the coaches decided to part ways. Middleton is a great talent who needs to mature and get things together if he hopes to end up playing at Tennessee."

This guy is NFL in the making. These high school coaches would do themselves a favor to cater to him. Heck, they could land a college coaching gig if they played their cards right.

Quite possibly the most ignorant post in the history of the world wide web..

That would be the biggest mistake they could make. Especially for the kid. Sounds like you know very little about this situation.

I only know what been reported here.... Look, at the high school level, some players are bigger than the team. Darel is one

Dumbest comment of the day nominee. No kid is above he school. Without the school the kid doesn't have the platform to showcase his skills. Sounds like a young kid that needs some guidance from level headed adults.

To hell with football right now I just hope he doesn't drop out of school altogether. Needs big brother program or something

The realest sh*t in this thread.

He could use some mentoring but he first has to be open to accepting help

This. Is truth. Someone posted that this kid is bigger than Powell football. Wrong. Life is whats big. This young man needs guidance in life rather than guidance in a game. Hopefully he gets it.

No way you can project a kid as an NFL lock as a sophomore. Particularly since it's not like he's consistently dominated competition in East TN which isn't exactly the nation's top HS football.

Some of the comments in this thread are a disgrace. He is a young kid who has some issues. With the right people in his life and some support, there is plenty of time to turn things around.

That headfootballcoach guy clearly has a personal vendetta. Guy is a joke.

I'd hate to think how this young mans life might turn out without a hs diploma. I mean, nowadays, it pretty much takes a college degree to get a job a hs diploma would get you 20 years ago. Where is this young mans father? One thing I'd point out is Butch of all people would be wonderful for the man as well as the other players on the team. The thing is, will he go completely off the tracks before he has an opportunity to benefit from the resources UT provides?

That coach guy clearly has a personal vendetta, definitely not someone who should be coaching kids either way. Guy is a joke.

Again, someone else who does not have a clue. Get the facts before you start calling other people names. The Powell community very much wanted to be behind this kid and was willing to do everything to help him.

Preach! Sometimes while reading these kids tweets I think to myself "how in the hell did this kid make it past 4th grade?"

I find it really creepy that you spend time reading a high school sophomore's tweets when you obviously do not even know him. It is especially disturbing that you then see fit to publish criticism of said sophomore on a public web site. Get a life and leave the sophomores of the world alone. :eek:k:

Wait, you condone a football coach coming onto a message board and speaking of a child in the manner which he did?
