'16 TN ATH Darel Middleton (Tennessee signee)

As fans, we are stakeholders of University of Tennessee. We put the money in through merchandise, concessions, donations, and tickets. If someone is trying to be a vol, we have the right to judge them. Like you have the right to judge a waiter, a writer, or anyone else you spend money on.

I just wonder how venomous the judging would be if this wasn't an anonymous message board and people could check to see if some had their affairs in order before throwing someone else under the bus

I'd still be just as venomous.

Wow. The complete and total absurdity of this statement is almost overwhelming.

You're saying you judge a waiter, as a person, based off of their service to you that particular meal? You judge a writer, as a person, based off of a story? It is your right to judge someone as a person, just because you hand them money?

And last, but by no means least, because you spend money on UT merchandise....You have the right to judge a teenage kid, because he MIGHT one day play for UT?

You have a severly warped sense of entitlement sir.

I didn't spend a penny to make that judgement.

If this were Gibson I would agree with you somewhat, but most of this is from people around him I guess. While some seem like they actually hope for the best for the young man and are relaying what they've seen or heard, some seem like they take pleasure from this young man wasting a once in a lifetime opportunity. Either way it's really none of our business

And your response is a perfect example of doubletalk and somebody who does want to have it both ways.

Out of one side of your mouth you would agree if it were a particular prospect, but then out of the other side or your mouth you disagree because it is another particular prospect.

It doesn't work that way in real life, especially when one uses Twitter and other social media to promote himself and attack his "haters" like he has.

I think how often John Adams gets judged proves that point. If a waiter treats you like dirt, why couldn't you judge them, or if they treated you greatly. It's not too hard to see what a person is through their actions.

I have the right to judge Darel as a person like we have the right to judge our coaches as people. We were just slamming Dooley for how much of a jerk he is.

Shoot, your god judges you after you turn eight and everyday after

I'll admit I worded that poorly I meant I could see his viewpoint on it, but wouldn't necessarily agree with it

Lol.......

If you say you don't judge people, you're just lying to yourself. :)

I would probably be the least judgemental person you've ever met. I make fun of everyone equally... Just kidding, kinda, I do rarely judge though as it's one of my pet peeves.

Kudos to you. I only judge when its obvious or protective. Protective meaning I don't trust Alibaba clerks at liquor stores because they scam ya. I'm a person that assumes the worst, so the best is more awesome.

I do judge positively at times, examples would be Stewart, Jones, P. Williams among others.

I judge all the time. In fact, it's all I do. If you get in front of me at panera, I'm judging you and everything you do. Broccoli soup and a sandwich pick 2? What a douchebag order. I bet you like broccoli soup while you listen to Mumford and sons in a van overrun by bumper stickers and mushroom decals, hippie.

The world is better that way. Makes others appear lesser. It's great. It's less depressing too.

Orange Hammer-I am amazed at the lengths you go to support a kid that clearly has serious attitude and behavior problems. At least have the honesty to admit that if nothing else this kid is a freaking QUITTER! He has quit every team he has been on as soon as he didn't get his way.

VolStove.. please to me a favor: go back and find at least one post of mine where I have endorsed DM or his behavior, or any post where I have supported him or his actions. I'll hang up and listen..

I was going to really come at you bro.. but BB followed up with possibly the post of the month..

Well you sure did attack anyone that was not singing his praises or pointed out his faults. Just a couple of your "lighter" thrusts.

I guess the racketeering got him in the end.

Ps- that's still DMs business, and none of yours. He is a kid and has to carve his own path. Who are we to judge him? The fact that you don't get that is astounding.

..and there you'll be criticizing every move made by a kid in high school because of the issues you suffer from yourself. It's ok, you're from Kingsport.. I get it.

This kid reminds me of a kid that used to play at Oak Ridge that went to Alabama and got kicked out Shaun Bohannon. He was a great player and athlete he just always seemed like he ways always intitled to something. Middleton seems to be heading down the same road.

You are getting desperate now. It's Kingsport's fault. You must be very young
