Looks like there's some question on whether he'll be eligible to play this season. He transferred to Sevier County and the mom is going to have to move to that school zone by August 21st for him to be eligible this year.

He hasn't been really committed to us in a long time, man. He just finally made what we already knew official.

I'm not sure why we took this kid to begin with.....seems Butch does much better in terms of talent. My hunch is he was told to look elsewhere. We have limited spots this year and we don't need to be giving them out to people who aren't going to raise the standard on the hill.

He did well at a camp before the staff really caught fire by recruiting at an elite level. A guy Butch likely liked at a Cincy. I think Butch learned a lot that first year of SEC play in terms of the calibre players he needed to recruit and made a few profile changes

I think Banks is a good player just not one that would have seen time with the type of guys we are recruiting now at WR/RB/Corner

Hate all the negative comments when a kid decommits. Given how much talent we're bringing in, some of these guys may never get to see the field. Honestly, if I had a choice between being a benchwarmer for 4 years at UT or being a 3-year starter at somewhere like East Carolina, Miami (OH), or Western Kentucky, I'd probably choose being a starter.

Everyone has to decide what's best for himself. For Mr. Banks, getting a chance to play may be a big priority. I wish Mr. Banks nothing but the best of luck.
