Don't forget all-star Taylor from Hunter's old high school, we are going to be in the mix with him as well.

Man somehow I keep forgetting about him. They seem to be solidly in the Top 3-4 with him as well. It's scary to think how good that class could be at Defensive Back. Could be even better than this year's freshman DB class.

I just heard from Donte's father. He said they had a great time at the game, and was shown a lot of love. They are going back for the Bama game.

A four-star defensive back from Memphis, Tenn., who named Tennessee his leader in July says the Vols still are standing out to him following his trip to Knoxville on Sunday.

Per Hubbs

Willie Martinez is expected to see Donte' Vaughn on Friday night when Whitehaven plays. Vaughn has been to Knoxville twice the last few months and could be back in town one more time for a game before the season is over.

According to Dante's father, we are still the leader. IMO, only Georgia would have a real chance of swaying him. That being said, UT is definitely in the driver seat as of now.

IMO, yes. He is a shutdown corner in high school and there is no reason for me to believe he won't be one in college also.

I'm not one who worries too much about a player being too big to play a position, but he is incredibly tall for a CB. The height listed may be a little inflated though. Vaughn and Osborne would be a sick haul at CB next year though.

His height is legit, and his ability to go up and take the ball is very impressive. He is an interception machine. We really need him, and I like our chances.

After reading through this thread again, so do I. This would be a huge pickup. Get this guy and Warrior to go along with Osborne, and we have one very good DB class next cycle.

Ohio State handed out a few new offers over the last week that caught some people by surprise. One of these was to three-star running back Ke'Shawn Vaughn, who is averaging about 200 yards per game and 14 yards per carry this fall. The initial thought is that this offer happened as a back up to possibly losing Damien Harris, but that does not seem to be the case. Vaughn is having such an impressive senior season that this is a player who the Buckeyes just decided they want in their program. It's too early to say if Vaughn plans to give Ohio State a long look, but with the season he is having, you can be sure that he will likely have plenty of new options over the next month or two. And, as we all know by now, I think Harris ends up at Kentucky.
