Any idea where he is committing to then?

Fort and Hubbs seem to be hinting he's ours.

No, I don't. I would just be surprised, that's all. Not sure many had him slotted in our class.

But if VQ is saying it that's something. They know more than most.

"I haven't heard anything conclusive, but just based on what I've heard today, I think this one could be worth watching tomorrow. Still looking into it, but I just made a Crystal Ball pick for Tennessee based on the little bit I've heard about Hart today. I'll keep you guys posted, though, as we continue to gather more information on this one.

I started to hear today that an announcement from Hart could come soon, but I didn't necessarily expect it to come this soon."

Maleik Gatewood. Plus Richmond and this kid would make 3 from MUS.

Gatewood the walk on? Did we really recruit him? Tim Hart? We'll see if he commits and sticks. Certainly not an elite prospect. Still one or two players in 10+ years isn't a pipeline. People just throw the word pipeline around but where do we actually have a pipeline? MUS doesn't produce enough talent to have a pipeline. When was the last elite recruit before Drew?

I believe he was meaning starting a pipeline. 3 kids in under a year is starting a pipeline. It opens up Memphis doors. I don't know enough about MUS to know if they have more players down the pipe or not

3 players from a school is more than 1 player from a school, no matter how they get here. I'm not claiming a "pipeline", but it is what it is. If Hart commits to Tennessee, we'll have 3 players from that school. Not certain, but I doubt we have 3 players from very many other high schools.

Blueshirts really only come into play when you're up against the 25 scholarship cap for an individual year. Most people seem to think it's the 85 overall scholarship number we'll be up against this year (though I'm not entirely sure I agree). With the 3 blueshirts from last year, we can give 22 schollies this year before we start bumping up against that 25 number. We would only need to start talking about blueshirts for this year if we are going to take more than 22 in this class.

Agree. Plus, next year's class already looks to be loaded with options. I don't see them cutting into it. If anything, I see this class being on the smaller side, giving them room for more than 25 next year.
