Our average prospect rating on 247 will be higher than previous years but our class ranking will be lower.

Basically we will have better talent from top to bottom but less overall players therefore a lower ranking

If we get to 20 or more, and have better top to bottom ranked players, it won't matter that we have less. They only count the top 20 anyway.

Lol of course. Vandy's 247 board is extremely hostile and butthurt, well, 24/7. Every thread is VIP only and they even have a stickied post calling out rival fans (read: UT fans) to not post on their board.

I may be wrong, but I thought only Rivals does that. I think 247 uses a point system and each commitment adds points.

It still says 247, but I think Jesse Johnson went to VandyMania over at Scout.

Jesse Johnson & Chris Smith got run off from Vandy247 & VandyMania respectively, for being complete and utter Idiots.

So they just switched places.

Classic.

Rivals only counts the Top20 and their formula is posted.

247 counts everyone and their formula is unknown.

I've been meaning to put together our Rivals projection, as I have done in years past. May do that tonight...

He's about the same ranking (maybe slightly changed). He was always slightly ranked higher than Ryan Johnson

In the composite, Matthews is the 24th ranked OT in the country, 4* .9094. Bro Hamm is number 32, 3* .8899 (and actually the highest ranked 3* prospect in the country regardless of position).

Ryan Johnson is somewhere in between the two.

Price, Dickerson, and Williams are all more highly rated than any of those mentioned above.
