Yea, at the time, people believed it wasn't possible for Vandy to put UT for a lifelong vol fan, but its a lot easier to see why now when every thing about Dooley's instate recruiting came out.

They're good friends and Ryan will continue to work on him. I wouldn't worry too much about Vandy at this point. The visit is probably as much a courtesy as anything with Bryce's dad being a line coach at BA. The high school coaches always want to keep good relationships in place with all the college coaches. I'm sure at this point he doesn't want to close any doors since he is still undecided. In the end though, he will be an elite talent at OT and elite talent does not go to Vandy.
