'17 CA DT/OL Jalen McKenzie

How many stars I'm afraid to ask. 3?

His last name is McKenzie
He plays OL
He bleeds Orange
In this situation, I don't care one bit about stars...

:hi:

Edit:
I am very concerned now. I feel a disturbance in the PosiVol force. I feel that crunchy leb is about to agree with me....
Not sure what to do. Butchna help!
:)

From what I've seen, it seems like he's a talented player he just has trouble staying healthy. Could be a great player if healthy i think.

If Jalen is healthy, and plays well this season, I think we take him over any OL not named Trey Smith.

I think as long as he stays healthy I expect him to have a pretty good season, with the talent in his family he should end up being high 3* or 4* plus he's a legacy. I fully expect him to end up a vol. I say we take him, Smith and Eze.

The scout article said several schools are wanting to see his first couple games film this year to decide if they offer. We might know if he'll be a take for us in Sept. If he looks 100% IMO he needs to be in this class.

While Tennessee feels good about where they are with Trey Smith, they aren't going to just focus on him at the tackle spot. Tennessee is keeping a close eye on Jalen McKenzie who rehabbed with the Oakland Raiders this off-season.

McKenzie has incredible length and if he shows an ability to stay healthy this fall, then Tennessee will very much be in play here. Now with things getting into the late summer and early fall, McKenzie is also listening to programs like Arizona State and UCLA who are also keeping close tabs on him.

Hoping he has a great start to the season. From the recent articles it looks like teams will make their move within his first 2-3 games if he looks healthy. Pulling for you Jalen, get after it.

@ this point McKenzie hasn't been a take because he's been often injured. He still has a chance to blow up during the season but staying healthy is a priority for him or he could end up a preferred walk on
