And yet we continued to play all those years quite well. It's almost like we had other players and options.

I heard we even had busts then also.
But hey, why don't you go ahead and pizz and moan endlessly like it makes a difference.

Wasn't Bray a 3*? Not a GREAT college QB, but he piled up some stats. Stole him from San Diego St.

Just thinking that passing on hiring a QB coach may have been a huge mistake. I know DeBord was livid about it. Do you think we would be having trouble getting a QB if Peyton was here?

If Peyton was the QB coach I assume we would be turning a lot of big time QB's away, but that's fantasy talk. We have Dobbs this year and JG for a while. Just not the time to panic and crap on a kid for accepting an offer our coaches extended to him. This staff is looking for certain types of kids...this guy fits that...

This whole complaint that we don't have a QB coach keeps popping up, but it's inaccurate and very overblown. Debord is OC/QB just like Chaney is at UGA. In fact, they have very similar track records when it comes to QB development; Chaney is to Brees as Debord is to Brady. Chaney was OC/interior OL or OC/TE when he was here under Kiffin. They got Eason last year and we got Guarantano, they top 2 for Lawrrence in '18 class, we are top 2 for Emory Jones. The whole QB coach thing really is a nonissue.

Wow, you're a dumb human. Apparently 'not having a QB coach' hurt us last year.

Jarrett Guarantano, Tennessee, Pro-Style Quarterback

And even though he decommitted, we had the number 1 QB this year commit for a time in Hunter Johnson. Who was the QB coach when Hunter originally committed? And who is recruiting the number 2 dual threat QB, Emory Jones for the 2018 class?

You should probably sit out the next few plays, champ.
