WKU has been just as good as UT overall in the past 10 years. They have went to a bunch of consecutive bowl games. More consecutive than us. They are a team that now gets better recruits. That's why!

We do have program prestige on them but in recent years WKU has been a program comparable to us.

You left out that our coach is #2 on the hot seat list.

Next for RB recruiting?

The kid who's committed to Western Kentucky, Tim Jordan, is getting ready to blow up in my opinion. Alot of power 5 schools coming after him. Felix is the other guy where I think Tennessee starts. They have offered the Lovett kid from New Jersey as well.

Better hope North Dakota State doesn't offer any of our commits.

What are you laughing at Ron? :p:p:)

Instead of laughing guys go to Wiki & just take a look for yourself at the records. Now, we did kill them one game when Kiffin was here that one season but overall they have been a team at least comparable record-wise to us.

They don't get the same talented type players we get for the most part but they do have a decent program now. Even have won 10 games in 2 of the past 10 seasons or so but they do play in a much weaker conference. Just saying Ron.

There's no guarantee Jordan is coming to UT. It's been 3 weeks since we offered him & has he jumped on it yet? Huh? I think he's staying to be able to actually play some RB instead of signing with us to set the bench. Again, RB personnel at UT would keep him on the bench for the most part while playing at WKU he gets the ball. Thanks there Mr. Ron! :)

At WKU, Jordan has no better chance of playing than he does at UT. WKU is returning Ferby, from Nashville who was a beast in 2015 until being injured in 2016 early in the season; and Baker a speedster who has been clocked at 4:30 in the 40.

Although WKU plays in a lesser conference, the team has been very good the last three years, 23-5 the last two.

And from an offensive skill position players' perspective, WKU's offense is exciting and fun to be a part of.

As a side note, Pro Football Focus graded WKU's O-Line as a top ten offensive line unit, with two players being in the top 8 at their positions.

I realize that this post will cause consternation an outrage, but WKU is not the same team that UT destroyed in Knoxville several years ago.

Cheers and good luck to the Vols in Nashville tomorrow. My family and I will be there.

Whats sad is that he really believes WKU is on the same level as UT. Somebody must have put some sorta drug in his fruit loops. Tony your onesie is getting to tight cutting off the blood from your brain. ;) Thanks Buddy!

If you think a top player is going to pick WKU over UT right now, then I feel sorry for you. They are a solid team but get real here.

Wait... So now we are getting excited about a recruit that is considering going to WKU? Wow, how far have we fallen? I remember when we wouldn't look twice at a recruit like this..

He was committed under Brohm who is now at Purdue. West Ky has had some really nice running backs under Brohm. Florida, UNC and others now after him so it's not just TN

You've said some stupid stuff over the past 6 months, but this, this is by far the dumbest thing you've ever posted.

And Tennessee, despite a failed 2016 season, is nowhere near the talentless train wreck who lost by 30+ points 4 separate times the season when they last played WKU. And even if they were, I'll still stand by the idea that if a kid has legit offers from both schools, visits both schools and has aspirations of playing big boy football, all things being equal.....that he'll pick Tennessee 99 times out of 100.
