Jay, respect you as a poster and understand what you're saying… With that said, our TE commit's dad who has been posting in his thread welcomed James to the TN family. He said that their problems aren't with us taking another TE, but they are concerned because the coaches are not returning their text messages. He feels that is a sign of being pushed out the door. I think everything will be copacetic, if the coaches would return their text messages and let them know that all is well.

If the kid runs from compitition you have a point but if he gets the git shirt your post has no validity.

I'm actually kinda excited about this kid. He has great size and room to grow. He's rated low because he's only played TE one year. He's a good looking athlete in his highlights. I think we were a step ahead with this guy.

I read his 247 article interview and he gushes about Tennessee. He loves it and seems to see what's great about the program. Those are the kind of players that we need to get here. Especially players with a high and untapped ceiling like he has. The frame and athleticism is there to be an awesome TE. I could see him sticking and ending up developing into a good player for us. Maybe as a freshman.

And his name is James Brown. I'm in.

For what it's worth, GFW stated in the RF that this kid is a good get. Expected him to blow up as a TE prospect..

Big frame kid with room to grow. Didn't see him catching the ball in the hudl film though.

Brown looks like a good prospect, but in this stupid offense we should just recruit more Tackles to play the position.
