This thread reminds me of when E. Mosley committed and everybody freaked out. When he was starting mid-point freshman year, everybody said Butch was a "master talent evaluator". So let's relax.

I don't think we pick up less talented corners but I believe we don't develop them well. Losing Cam through most of the season shouldn't hurt us as much as it did. Tells me that we haven't done a very good job developing.

Just to play devil's advocate, I get that stars don't mean anything, and I am super excited to have this kid, BUT statistics show that most of the elite teams competing for championships are pulling in mainly 4*/5* players every year.

It is at least a little concerning that this class has been mostly 3* players and we have missed on a lot of our previously top prospects. Getting a lot of 3* players mean you have to depend on the coaching staff to develop players into better than their star levels. And do we trust Butch and Co. to do that? It seems to me like we have had quite a few 4*/5* come in and underperform, and we are expecting the staff to develop the 3* into even better players.

That's just my personal opinion. And only my opinion. I'm not saying anyone else is wrong or that I am right (I probably am not). But this season has not done much to sway me on the field or the recruiting front.

Doing some quick research on that program took my down an entertaining rabbit hole. Their coach is Rush Propst. I'm sure these stories circulated when we signed John back in 2010ish but I missed them...wow there are crazier story lines in that wiki than HBO's Vice Principals

I was on a team we lost to his team 21-17(had 18 penalties versus them, yes they cheated the HELL out of us). After the game he talked to all of us he liked and told us he wanted us at Hoover at the time. And I know even more stuff to tell the truth. He was WILDIN at Hoover. I mean he was wide open. But he can coach football and that's no doubt about it. 😎😎😎😎😎

Moseley has been a starter for us and still plays a lot if not injured. All the better if he is better than Moseley.

According to the article on 247, the kid is 19. Originally from Alabama, he had to move to Georgia so he could play football his senior year. Played at Theodore High School in Alabama.

Why did he have to move to play his senior year? Grades?
