More to it than losing him to Kentucky, he gitshirted a quality athlete (Cotman) because he thought he had Nixon and Corker in bag.

Obviously there is a chance he can still upgrade but I'd say it's more realistic at this point that this spot is filled with someone below Cotman's ability level. Family pooch just took one.

Yeah. Guess you're right. Jones is right on track. Perfect in fact. Locked down the best players in state, right? Proved he was a championship coach, right? Loading up this critical recruiting class with great players, right? Fighting for the best players and getting those next tier players on a whim, right?

If Jones' recruiting falls off as it appears it is then what else has he actually proven he can do?

Disappointing....yes and surprising.

Black Monday? Nah.


I will still wait for everything to play out with this class before I judge recruiting for the class of 2017.

I am not sure what happened and will likely never know, so I will just move along and see who else signs to play for us.

IF it is true the chances of this cousin actually making it to Lexington are really slim. Package deals are usually more effective in the same class, Ron.

Rebuild a team, beat georgia and florida, get the team mentioned again as a contender, get ranked in the top 10, win multiple bowls, have a pretty good track record of graduating kids that dont get arrested and help the community...yeah he sucks.
