Nobody thinks 2016 was acceptable? Sorry Laager, that's just not true. Plenty are good with 8 wins and a chance to win 9, no matter how it comes about. More than plenty lean on the injuries as a legit reason for losses and therefore are all good with how 2016 played out.

Different discussions, whether about recruiting or just the program in general wind up leading to what happened in 2016, just the way it is on a message board. And unfortunately, if you're discussing 2016, it's impossible to talk about it without discussions about goals not met because of the losses to SCar and Vandy. Some wanna dive into it and talk about what went wrong, while others want to put it in the rear view and discount it as water under the bridge. I suspect both sides want what's best for the program in the long run.

I see the moaners and *****ers have arrived Do you guys have so little in your life that the loss of a 3 star recruit causes you to meltdown? If you want to see what really matters in life check out the Jeff Jacoby thread in the FF...and just another FYI wait until NSD to see how we finish before writing this class off as terrible.

It's why anyone should look at the offer list when it comes to a 3 star. Corker has an impressive offer list, and was definitely a take. It does sting for him to pick UK.

Butch has recruited many 3 star that make you scratch your head, but he's also signed some that have and will contribute

As far as the bad losses, we had 9/10 of 11 starters on offense and 8 of 11 on defense......and we got shredded by a 5-win vandy team who's average class recruiting rankings the last 3 years was in the 50s. It was clearly much more than a handful of injuries that cost us that game, the SCar and ultimately the season.

If you believe that Cam, Kirkland and Foreman were anywhere near even 70%, then you are an even bigger moran than I thought.

Uhhhh because a 70% Cam and Kirkland are still better than a near 100% Buchanon and Jumper. I get that everyone thinks our depth is great from the last 4 recruiting classes but the fact is that it still isn't there yet. It's a lot better than it was but still not good enough to overcome the injuries we had this year.
