A surprise? Why would they offer someone they don't want? Man some of our fans are really dumb

What about all the decommitts bc of an upgrade the past 3 or 4 yrs? Didn't appear they were wanted that much

Not too sure abt Mo. He's not agile, not quick or sudden. I have a distinct feeling that his committment came as surprise to our staff. According to 247, he is at or about the 1000th best player in America and he's the 98th ranked player in Georgia.
I honestly don't have a thing against him, but his talent profile fits a Tulane, Memphis or Tulsa more so than in Neyland Stadium. Don't expect this one to make it to NSD.

Yeah, that Memphis profile that beat Ole Miss, who beat Alabama. Throw that UAB profile in there as well with Jake Ganus playing MLB at UGA his last year and being team captain. Yeah, that profile.

Good point. You've got to remember (although it is painful) that Patrick Willis was a 3-star that hardly any of the big dogs gave an offer to.

Butch and Co. have a pretty good track record of finding hidden gems that actually do work out, and some of them have jumped up the rankings after Butch discovers them. Seems like the Dools was the exact opposite.

You'll beat the dead horse senseless.

When we are in a playoff next year it will be clear we could go get a kid like this at any time. It's time we stop acting like Cincinnati and thinking we only get guys when we are the first to offer. We can steal kids all day like this later in cycle and twice on Sunday

Kids tape is very good. Lots of plays made in pass coverage. Looks like Austin Smith's HS film. Good use of hands to shed blocks, good tackler and good in coverage. This looks like a very good pick up to me.

That's not SEC caliber. Time to cut this kid loose.
