'17 GA LB Mo Burnam (former UT commit)

It doesn't matter what happens... VN will never get past those reported numbers.

Those numbers definitely aren't great, but it looks like more than a few players have out up less than stellar numbers. I don't think it is prospect performing poorly at camps so much as more camps getting numbers right. For years we have seen prospects putting up NFL combine caliber numbers, and I just don't think that's accurate.

He fell for Tennessee right away: “Really, with Coach (Butch) Jones, they don’t treat you like everybody else do. When it comes to all your visits and everything, they actually treat you like you’re already one of them. It’s just really cool how close we became so fast.”

His favorite player is a fellow Georgia native who went on to star at Tennessee: “I try to model my game after (former Vols safety) Deon Grant. Just real aggressive and fast but also really good at coverage. A big hitter. I want to wear either No. 1 or No. 7 — that’s what Deon Grant used to wear.”

He’s buddies and workout partners with fellow Tennessee commit and Peach State linebacker Jaquan Henderson:
“We’re real close friends. We have the same trainer so we be training with each other from time to time.”

Hopefully he gets to sign as a Vol.

I can't see what you posted, but let me take a blind stab at it..blah blah blah..It's going to be really scummy when Butch cuts this big lumbering non sec talent player loose right before signing day..blah blah blah. :) IMO If he signs a UT LOI...That means the staff thinks he has earned it by improving on his..umm..athletic deficiencies. Hopefully he doesn't end up like Hart. But I'd rather him be turned loose, than waste a scholarship if he isn't good enough to contribute.

Lol

How about letting him earn it before he makes his plans for the next 4 years or for Life as we like to brag about?

Pretty much just in less words. Nailed it!

Mo's no worse off than he was yesterday. We don't have a full class. No one's in imminent danger. We have at least 5 open spots, we likely will have some players decommit and Brandon Gaddy can play multiple positions and may be of more value to us on offense.

You posted he will have "earned signing an NLI by improving his athletic deficiencies"

I prefer we see that "earning"before kids make life plans

I'm pretty sure a marginal kid is made to understand he has to improve through his senior season to get that spot. Unless a kid is just an outright Moran, surely they can do the math. If I was kid outside the top 1000 and got a conditional offer to a top 25 team, I would jump all over it too. And work my adouble s off to get better.

If that's the case I see no problem with it as you say.

Is this kid still taking visits? If he knows his spot is conditional Surely he is still looking around.
