Some idiot named Nathan called in and asked Swain if we told Hunter to "look around". Jesus Christ. Yeah, we told the top 2017 QB in the country to kick rocks. Lol.

According to an article by Hunter Turner today, it does appear that HJ did indeed try to sway TH away from UT last weekend. If so, I wish him no luck at all. BYEEEEEEE:shaking2:

If Clemson is the best place for him, great, no problem... but being committed to UT and actively recruiting against us WHILE on our campus is BULLSHT. Hope dude is a complete bust.

If word got back to the staff that he came to campus after his Clemson visit to talk them up to Tee Higgins? I think that's exactly what we did.

As long as we keep Jarrett committed, and signed on NSD, I could care less about HJ flipping to Clemson. From watching both players play, IMO Jarrett is the better QB that's been successful against way better competition. Don't get me wrong, I would like to see HJ stay with our Vols, but I think he's realized that its going to be a shot out for playing time at Tennessee. In all my 37 years of watching our program, Ive never seen a laundry list of QBs like we have now. From what I've seen on Dormady so far, is he's got a cannon for a arm, and real good size. Then we go to Sherion Jones, he throws a good ball, and he's got decent wheels if he has to run. If we can hold on and fight the other teams of till NSD, and get ink to paper, Guarantano IMO is absolutely a program changer at QB. From watching him play aganist some of the best players in a few of the all-star games and camps, he could quite possibly be the best QB we've had since the great Peyton Manning! It would not surprise me one bit, if one of these young guns dethrown Dobbs this spring going into the season. In other words, losing HJ for the 17 class doesn't worry me at all. And hopefully Butch and his staff will stay on Tee Higgins, like they have done in the past with our local home grown kids, and have him wearing the ORANGE & WHITE and representing the great university of TENNESSEE on fall Saturdays in Knoxville! GO VOLS!

Lol Hunter fell for some salesman bs. Watch him flip to someone else like ND now. He was all about being the only QB during ND and TN recruitments

It sucks that he handled things they way he did, but hopefully our fans are chillin on the social media. He may come back around, and we don't need all the hate making it more difficult for the coaches. He is probably already feeling crossed by Clemson

IF. That claim was not made. It's was simply, "did Johnson commit to Clemson because Tennessee told him to take off? ..... as though we must've been trying to upgrade and have a better player in mind to replace him with, which is utterly ridiculous. Why can we not just say the truth? Which is, as great a job as Jones has done with recruiting the last 2 years, sometimes you're just gonna lose players to other schools because the player prefers the other school. It's not a sin.

Yep. He wants to be only QB in his class. It was such a huge deal before. I don't see that changing. Regardless of what he will probably say publicly initially because clearly he is full of crap based on the articles about his visits before the flip.

Kid might as well just go to ND. At least go to one of the 2 schools that kept it real with you during recruitment and not throwing shade at you

Glad this one took himself out. He's got head issues, which would translate into headache issues to his teammates, Butch and the staff.
