I believe Bumphus said UT wanted him at TE in an interview.

That very well could be possible but we all know once they get to campus position changes occur. Look at Jennings who wanted to be a qb or Byrd who thought he was playing defensive back.

I'm just going off of what Fortenberry and Callahan have said and everything they say lead me to believe that defensive end is the position they see Bumphus playing at UT.

Bumphus is recruited as an athlete and his position on the team is undetermined. He said the coaches told him they wanted him and could see him playing either side.

I like and hope we keep Rogers.

Unlike some of the other commits his tape is fairly impressive to me. He is one of the lower rates players I would like to keep. I think he would easily be a 4* by the endof his senior season.

TE is another postion that stars rarely mean jack squat. Ethan wolf was a lowly 3 star. Not sure why anyone would say oh let him go to Ole Miss when Ole Miss has had some really nice TE production under Freeze so he might just know a good one when he sees it.

Also thought Rogers or one his coaches blasted Ole Miss few mths back for not offering him yet

St. Stanislaus coach blasted OM for not recruiting/offering any of his kids. He has several kids committed, including UT and LSU, and neither could get a look from OM early in the process.

Most posters thought we could do better than Ethan Wolf a few ears ago too. Daniel Helm got all the press. As for me, I hope Rogers sticks

summary is he is 100% committed... Actually has several family ties to TN... Loves Scott. USC, LSU and others calling them as well.

You either believe in recruiting rankings or you don't. Personally I feel they are a good guide to determine the ability of a player. Other than that you can look at the offer list and get an idea, if the offers are legit.
