Underclassman Eval

STRENGTHS: Compact back with a low center of gravity and good speed. Shows very good vision and the foot quickness and fluidity to make sharp cuts. Runs hard and seeks out contact. Has deceptive power for his size. Very capable receiver and blocker in the passing game. Elusive in space and flashes the ability to take it the distance as a return man.

AREAS OF IMPROVEMENT: Lacks ideal size and will need to add bulk and functional strength for the next level. Does not have elite top-end speed. Has to short step and gather some in order to put moves together.

BOTTOM LINE: Rodgers has everything you look for in a running back/slot except the size. Despite his smaller stature, he is a powerful runner that should be able to tote the rock 15-20 plus times at the next level. Overall, he's a very good prospect.

Give me Higgins, Chandler, Smith and Stevens and its a good instate haul. 2017 is a huge year in recruiting and on the field and I won't doubt Butch jones in recruiting for a second with what he has done and continues to do. If we can win on the field then recruits will come back around even more. Got to get those W's

Sounds like if we get Stevens, Gray, Bonds, and Fant would be likely too. Add Cordarrian Richardson to the names mentioned here and that would be an in state class of historic proportions.

I been seeing you post for years and I have never said anything in a reply to your post but I think you are so.wrong it's not even funny to watch you say idiotic things like this.many tee wanted to get to enjoy this time in his life and get all these recruiting calls from everywbere.knowing he would sign for Tennessee in the end.another point is a lot of the players who commit to play for Vols a year or more stopped getting recruited and therefore they do not move up in recruiting rankings and sometimes they drop in recruit rankings.between tee and butch you don't think they both new about that possibility.also after past dummies not recruiting a Knoxville native at wide receiver and then to see that player go on and star at another SEC team north of us and go to the NFL.iI know tee is from oak ridge not knoxville but he might as well be from knoxville.i think even if Tee were really rethinking coming to UT.butch would do everything that he could possibly do short of major rules violations to keep tee close to home.and Clemson isn't going to have Watson there when tee gets to collage @nd even though he likes the an from Indiana he ain't going to an out of state school to play with a kid who suck it up on e spn and was t the best an on the field when his team lost,also he might not get to play in collage if he doesn't get a line to protect him till he graduates.I'm not giving up on tee until I see him signed elsewhere.I just can't believ so many on Volnation all ready have .and that argument he is not as good as others because he goes to school and plays in east tennessee not in Warner Robbins or Atlanta or new orleans.he got that 5th star and he is a great player.

Lol was talking about Rodgers moron this is a Rodgers thread. If Rodgers was committing to TN, Higgins wouldn't have just decommitted. They are tight. Tee Higgins is no longer an easy recruitment but I think he is a vol come NSD.
